Overview

Aura 2.2.2 is a minor update to Aura 2.2. This release improves 360 image and colorization quality for GX1 scans. It also adds independent control of the spherical range and bounding box exclusion filters, and resolves several processing and stability issues.


Minor changes

  • Independent exclusion zone filters. The Exclusion zones dropdown is now two independent toggles, Spherical range and Bounding box. Previously only one of the two could be selected. The spherical range filter also stayed active in the background when a bounding box was used. Enable either filter on its own, or both together.

  • Improved 360 images for GX1 scans. 360 image and colorization quality is significantly better, and seam artifacts are reduced.


Resolved issues

  • Resolved an issue with geoid validation.

  • Resolved an issue where a scan recorded with RTK could not be merged with a scan recorded without RTK.

  • Resolved an issue where colorization or frame extraction did not create the Aura Cloud upload file. This occurred if the scan folder moved after processing.

  • Resolved an issue where Aura crashed in Ortho mode when Point opacity was set to 0 and Point size was set to 10.

  • Resolved an issue where Aura checked the wrong firmware version for GX1 scans. This could cause an incorrect compatibility warning.
