Download Commander Log Files

If your Hovermap has been involved in an incident or near-miss, refer to .Report an aircraft incident or near-miss with your Hovermap.

Follow these steps to download a zip file containing the Emesent Commander application log files.

Access to DJI or Freefly Astro aircraft flight logs requires a USB connection between the tablet and the remote control. Please refer to these articles for instructions:

Step 1: Open the Options Menu

1. Launch the Emesent Commander app.

2. Tap the Hamburger button on the top left of the screen to open the Options Menu.

3. Tap Download logs.

Step 2: Download the logs

1. Select whether to download all logs or only logs captured within the last 24 hours.

2. Tap Close once the download completed notification appears.

Step 3: Locate and save the log files

1. Open the My Files app on your tablet (or the equivalent app for your Android version).

2. Go to the Downloads section to access the downloaded logs.

3. Connect an SSD or USB drive to the tablet or Astro Max controller, then transfer the Commander log file to the SSD or USB drive.
