GX1 scan data is processed in Emesent Aura. Aura 2.2 introduces full processing support for GX1, including SLAM, GCP, RTK, and PPK georeferencing, colorization, 360 panoramic image extraction, multi-scan merge, and Aura Cloud upload.
The Aura processing workflow is the same for GX1 and Hovermap scans. For the canonical procedures, see the Aura articles linked below.

Aura processing procedures
Process GX1 scans using the standard Aura procedures:
Process scan data: process raw scan data into a point cloud.
Selecting a processing profile: choose the processing profile that matches the environment and required output.
Processing scan data with RTK: produce a georeferenced point cloud using RTK corrections.
Processing scan data with Ground Control Points (GCPs): georeference and improve accuracy using Ground Control Points.
Process scan data in Aura using PPK: process a PPK-georeferenced workflow from an imported trajectory.
Colorizing scan data: add true color to the point cloud from captured camera footage.
Reprojecting a processed point cloud: transform a processed point cloud to a new coordinate reference system without reprocessing.
Merge scan data: align and fuse multiple scans into a single point cloud.
GX1-specific notes
Aura applies tuned default colorization settings for GX1, including image masks suited to the chosen mount.
Aura masks people, including the operator, from colorized point clouds and 360 panoramic images by default.
