How to check in a license

Check in a license to return it to the shared pool and make it available to other users. An internet connection is required to check in a license.

Process

Step 1: Open license details

  1. Open License Details using one of the following methods:

    • Click the User Profile icon and select License Details.

    • In the Process tab, click Return Seat.

Step 2: Select a license

  1. Locate the checked-out license and click Return Seat.

Step 3: Confirm the return

  1. Click Confirm to return the license to the shared pool.

The license is immediately available for other users once returned.
