The Hovermap protective cage provides a complete shaft scanning solution ready to be winched. The stainless steel frame is hard-wearing, specially designed to slide smoothly, avoid snags, and deliver high-quality scans. A polycarbonate clamshell cover at the rear of the unit provides additional protection from falling debris and moisture.
Hovermap is mounted in the cage using a vibration-isolated carbon fibre plate that incorporates a mounting plate suitable for V-Mount batteries up to 50 mm thick (sold separately). A shackle and carabiner are included to enable rapid deployment.
